Free Guide: How To Build A Distant Reiki Practice
EXCERPT FROM THE GUIDE:
Virtual Vs. In-Person Reiki
Distance Reiki is as effective as in-person hands-on treatment is. The big difference is the lack of touch and the grounding feel that touch provides for people. This will probably be the biggest reason people prefer to come for hands-on treatment. It really does provide a strong sense of physical grounding. However, distance treatment is still going to address the entire being and encourage healing and balance on all levels. This can also offer your clients a great opportunity to really tune into the experience and sensations that are occurring. It will help them to hone their perceptions. Without the element of touch they can gain a different perspective on the experience of receiving Reiki.
As a Reiki professional practitioner you should be able to feel and sense the cycles of energy with a distance session equally well as an in-person session. You will need to be honest with yourself about your competency and level of experience with this. You should have completed Reiki Second Degree and be proficient in distance healing work. Don’t hesitate to contact your Reiki Master teacher for further guidance and practice if you aren’t confident in distance Reiki, and you can also set-up a consulting session with me to assist with your competency in this area of practice. I want you to be as confident and competent in your distance Reiki work as well as your hands-on treatment.
