A personal one-on-one iRest meditation session is referred to as a Dyad or Co-meditation, where the individual is led through a meditative process of self-inquiry and welcoming whatever is arising from a place of complete openness. With the support of the facilitator intentionally holding the space for you, a safety and trust is established to welcome and meet together any and all messengers that want to be seen, felt and heard. iRest co-meditation allows you to receive answers and insights from your own true knowing.
iRest is a trauma sensitive practice that allows the meditator to completely control how the process unfolds. iRest co-meditation is a gift to yourself, as it encourages you develop a deeper connection to your sense of ground and inner stillness that always exists. From this new found felt-sense of well-being, profound transformation and healing occurs naturally, a more responsive approach to life challenges emerges, and a deeper source of creativity arises.
Dyad sessions are 60 minutes, with approximately 35 minutes spent in active meditation. The remainder of the time is made up of the settling in and review or integration of the session. In a personal one-on-one session the process unfolds at your pace. There is no agenda to fix, change or control anything, all of which creates the potential for deep insight and healing.
As a result of the need to wear a mask for in-person sessions, iRest Dyads are most comfortably conducted at this time through video calls on zoom, FaceTime, or Skype.
