This Reiki Timer is an interval timer with a beautiful gong sound that can regulate Reiki sessions and meditations.  No need to keep an eye on the clock!  The gentle gong will ring once, repeating at the set interval of time until interrupted by the user or for up to 90 minutes.  The timer remains silent between gongs.  The beautiful wood finish and organic shape will naturally blend into your environment.  This timer can be used for mindfulness meditaiton, as a signal to change positions during yoga, or as a signal to change to a new area of focus during a Reiki or other body work session.  The longer time settings allow you to it for meditation.

Simple controls on the bottom of the timer make it easy to set.  The gong is a digitally reproduced recording of a Tibetan Gong bowl, accurately played over a high-quality speaker inside the timer.

The pure, ringing sound of the Tingsha creates an opening in reality.  They are used at the beginning, and end of a meditation period to open the mind for meditation, and then to focus our mind back to reality.  The striking sound of the Tingsha has the ability to call forth as well as clearing any disturbing energies in the moment.  The Tingsha brings clarity and spaciousness to any apace.

The Tibetan term 'ting' refers to the ringing sound of metal, to the cadence of a musical note and 'sha' means hanging or suspended.  When the two pieces strike each other they produce a clear, pure, cleansing sound.
